Tokpa Yôyô is the former Général Mathieu Kérékou shopping centre in Kouhounou, renamed in 2026. It takes part of the traders moved out of Dantokpa market. The schedule announced on 27 March 2026 by ANaGeM planned the gallery's opening for 9 May 2026.
According to Beninese press reports, it now holds textiles, leather goods, cosmetics and jewellery. The site was planned with 441 shops, 1,013 stalls and 70 restaurants; in June 2026 ANaGeM announced an extension because these places were not enough for about 4,000 traders.
Food wholesalers are sent to Tokpa Daho, in Akassato (Abomey-Calavi). Part of the trade still happens around the old Dantokpa.
